Assignment #4

Dear Abby

                I had an old friend named Richard. Once I was on his side trying to help him become king. I was his right hand man and then I had a change of heart and now he hates me. He wanted me to kill his nephews and I didn't so now he's going to kill me. It turned out that Queen Margaret's curse came true. She said that my friends would turn into my enemies. What should I do to get back on Richards side before it's to late.

   You did the right thing. You are a good person for not killing Richards nephew. From what you are telling me Richard is not a good person.You shouldn't want to go back to Richards side, but maybe you should see if you can buy your way out of being killed. If nothing can be done then when your about to be killed repent for your sins(if not already done.) Maybe all of this is happening because of the curse that Queen Margaret cursed you. All I can say is try to do anything to get out of death sorry I can't do anything more.

Assignment #3

Two topics that Two topics I want to talk about from reading Act 3 Scene 1-7. The first is about the prince of wales and his brother.The prince is really smart and is wise for his age.The lord of york, the brother of the prince is not as smart as the prince and he whines more than the prince.The second thing is how Hastings knows that Richard is evil and still goes to the tower where Richard is having meetings.

I want to talk about Buckingham. Buckingham is working with Richard and because he wants Richard to be king.Buckingham thinks that being king would be to much work for him.

One conflict is Richards way of getting to be king. He went from killing his brother, to killing lords Rivers, Grey and Vaughn, to plotting to kill his Nephew.

The importance of this passage was the king brought his wife,richard, and other lords to a place so that can settle and grudes against each other and made them show there love for each other. This is also important because at the time King Edward was sick and died after everyone showed their love to each other. I chose this passage because this was the last thing the king did before he died.

"The powerful dukes Gloucester and Buckingham"

The importance of this passage was that Lord Rivers,Sir Thomas Vaughan and Lord Grey have been imprisoned because of richard and buckingham. Richard was planed for his mom the dutches and queen elizebeth to go see the soon to be king of york so that he can imprison Lord Rivers,Sir Thomas Vaughan and Lord Grey. I chose this passage to show how desperate Richard wants to be king.I also chose this passage to show that Buckingham is evil with Richard.
